As a collector, you need to be very cautious when it comes to collecting autographs especially Lebron James autographs. Lebron James autographs are very scarce and command high dollar prices over $600 or more. The authenticators you can trust are the card companies that have witnessed the autographs themselves and right now the only card company that issues authentic autographs is UpperDeck. Upperdeck has an exclusive license to sell his autographs. Upperdeck lost the their license to Panini since they failed to pay for the license in 2009. This means there is no new autograph cards from 2009-2014. This is going to to be interesting to see if Lebron James signs a contract with Panini when his upperdeck contract expires.
